Journey to the Centre of the Earth
Welcome to the most dangerous and exhilarating adventure ever! It's Jules Verne’s classic told through mime, puppetry, miniature worlds in suitcases, special umbrellas and an erupting volcano!
When young Axel accidentally discovers a tunnel that descends through a volcano into the heart of the Earth, his eccentric uncle Professor Lidenbrock immediately launches an expedition accompanied by Hans, a hugely powerful Icelandic giant and Gertrude, his intrepid duck.
Together they journey through claustrophobic caves and glittering caverns. They escape from gigantic dinosaurs and sail upon oceans bubbling with storms and whirlpools. Can they reach the centre of the Earth? Can they return?
Performed to rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, Mark Penzak has toured this production throughout Scotland, England, Ireland and Australia.
