MARK PENZAK
Once And For All

Once and For All is a performance and community event held inside a local cemeteries and halls created by theatre company Such As They Are.
Written & performed by Mark Penzak, and co-developed with the cast, it begins with a twilight journey through a cemetery stopping at graves to hear the stories of the people buried there. This event embraces history but is not a history tour. Nor is it about the big stories but rather the small human stories we can relate to.

The journey is interspersed with theatre, poetry, music, tableaus and contributions by the community. At the conclusion, the audience and performers enjoy a cuppa tea and a scone, allowing everyone to gather, chat and enjoy being alive.

Once and For All is affectionate theatre. It looks into the past to understand the present and to view our future with minimal fear and even, a sense of acceptance.
